Operating Principles

Linear inductive sensors with analog output work in a similar way as ordinary inductive sensors. The energy of the oscillator is reduced by adding metal object in the field. The degree of reduction of energy depends on the distance between the sensor and the metal object. This change in energy is transformed into a measurement signal, the standard value of 0-5V or 4-20mA.
